“Thanks so much for what you’ve done. We really like it. Especially the logo is exactly what we hoped for. ”
The story behind:
Cathy and Mark have been building this place themselves for a few years and gave it their own unique touch. Overlooking the entire bay of La Ventana, Cerralvo island and mountains, this beautiful, quiet property invites to relax, dine, unwind or dive into the sea of activities; wind sports, mountain biking, fishing, exploring.
Their pride is the natural spa in the middle of the property and how they are always improving the property for guests. They just finished an additional room and the cozy fire pit in the yard which will inspire many cozy nights watching stars and telling stories.
Concept & DEsign
Logo and Branddesign
Mark and Cathy had a clear vision on their logo: it should reflect a playful and serene scene of an elephant sitting on a tree trunk with a drink. The colours and font should reflect the cozy and inviting feel of the property with their focus being on community and togetherness rather than a polished 5-star feel.
Photoshoot
To showcase new developments on the property on their AirBnB listing and to have a consistent feel between the brand and website, we planned a real estate photoshoot. They wanted to catch the golden hour and have the pictures reflect the warm and cozy feel in the evening.

Result & Impact
A brand design and website that communicates in it’s own way. Visually through negative space, warm imagery and small colourful touches. The colours chosen in the brand reflect the desert environment with cactus-green and a rusty red. The pages give a small insight of how it would feel staying at the Elephant Tree Inn and being warmly welcomed by Mark and Cathy.
Important was to set the page up for easy maintenance and create a timeless branding for the page and their business. As a small add-on I designed some business cards for them to hand out to friends and family.
